There are a few events that instantly tell you summer is in full swing.

EAA AirVenture is one of them.

For one week each year, aviation enthusiasts from around the world gather in Oshkosh for what's widely recognized as the world's largest fly-in convention and airshow. It's a tradition that has become part of Wisconsin's identity and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.

Even if you're not an aviation expert, it's hard not to appreciate it.

You hear airplanes overhead that you don't normally see.

You notice families traveling through the area.

You can almost feel the excitement wherever you go.

It's a reminder that Wisconsin has a way of bringing people together.
